Well then: I have come across your work before and I like the trend, being able to point at something and know which artists it is from is an ability that originates with the artist.
I think you have a great ability to make wet streets shine and shadows seem almost as alive as whatever is casting it.
I love you bold style however in this obviously fall setting with a rainy background I feel the "coloured squares" remain coloured squares instead of merge into the painting as being thought of as leaves. Where in most of your paintings they work I feel here they flatten the picture. They do however balance the colours from the sidewalk very nicely. And think if they had been slightly finer brushstrokes and some leaves in the trees behind, this flatness could have been avoided.
Where I like the use bold/dark lines/colours for the near and soft/faded for the receding and background I am missing the first tree. If you look at the line-up and spacing of the line of trees you expect another tree there which I think would enhance the depth and make for a nice diagonal across the painting.
The way the child huddles to his mom is very cleverly done as it is realistic even in your almost abstract style. Makes me feel very cozy inside.
Overall I love your paintings and their vibrance, and I am glad that you do not stick to one topic only and experiment within your style, but this feels like it needs a finishing touch.
