Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactWhat sets this apart from the other works is a shift towards action & danger, as the matador fights the charging bull. This is even more emphasized by the direction of the palette knife as seen near the bottom of the image and the red cloth. One can see an upward motion of the palette strokes, conveying a sense of movement like dust being kicked up.
Another feature is the colorization of only the matador, his red cape, the banderillas embedded in the bull and the blood from the bull itself (painted as blue & purple in this case), leaving the rest of the scene in black in white. This makes the overall image less distracting, giving one more focus on the main characters in the scene.
Overall, outstanding work!
