This impressionist painting is outstanding. Vibrant splashes of color really make the suggested image really pop! I really like the technique of the palette knife; It creates a very wet look to the street surface. Great color placement within the composition and the palette knife technique is rather masterful. I very much enjoy impessionism, but I can be a bit particular as to what I find appealing. This painting is extremely eye-catching, and demonstrates the idea of impressionism techniques to bring together a complete image in the mind of the viewer. Excellent contrast of colors bring me to a rather wet, windy evening on the street.
