This is a brand new painting I finished last week. I painted it outdoors in my jungle ranch in Mexico. It is oil on canvas with a palette-knife. Please comment with your opinion. I'm all about contrasts and this painting does it in a way I've not seen before. I love the streetlights and use of progressively darker colors to accent the differences. The reflection on what I'm assuming is a wet street or footpath only adds to it. I'm adding you to my watch list.

It is stunning, the top portion looks like a mosaic while the bottom looks smooth like water reflecting the top. The areas around the lights are magnificent, you have really conveyed that they are giving off light. The perspective is lower to the ground than one might expect but I think it draws your attention perfectly. And of course the bench, such a simple object that really makes the piece interesting. Without the bench, this piece would be plain and boring but with it, your eyes move around the canvas. Overall it is really beautiful and amazing
