This is a brand new painting I finished last week. I painted it outdoors in my jungle ranch in Mexico. It is oil on canvas with a palette-knife. Please comment with your opinion. I really want to see some constructive critics. The opinion of my fans matter a lot to me. This painting available for fair auction at my site.

This is an original oil on canvas. I use only a palette-knife for painting. I have not used a brush in this painting. I use only natural oil paint and 100% pure cotton canvas. This painting will be available for auction on www.afremov.com
Each original oil painting by Leonid Afremov is truly a one-of-a-kind unique piece of art. With his artwork in private and public collections throughout the world, the purchase of an Afremov original is a great investment as his artwork continues to appreciate.

The choice of view angle and the dramatic perspective creates such an engrossing effect, for the bench and the road in particular. Of course, your use of colour and palette knife work leaves me speechless. Thank you for sharing this with us!
The depth of contrast...somehow you have made the depths of contrast merge and look natural! Along with the reflection and the perception of being able to walk into this painting... I believe you have touched on something quite beautiful, yet mysterious here!
I'd give anything to be able to paint like this. It's emotional, deep and sort of wet, like rain. Only for me, autumn is less blue, and a little more green!
this is gorgeous! i absolutely love the colors - rich and bright without being too busy. it almost looks like you tried to take a photo, but rain made the world run (the bench still looks solid, making the rest look blurred). I love the effect. I want to take a walk there!
You pictured something, that is present in the night, but people can't see it. But it could be felt. This painting is miraculously capturing it. I love the feeling which it evokes in me.
