I like the slimplicity in the subtlety.
I would have added a leaf falling in midair (I know, kind of generic, but I still like it!) To represent, maybe a touch of worry, but a carefree mind, like the mind of a child, combined the parents mind.

Even though I don't exactly enjoy watching the movie (Not a complaint to the painting, just pointing it out), I get the feel of Kramer Vs. Kramer, in this, don't know why. Maybe it's the gray tone to it, but I like this painting much more.
