The Loneliness Autumn by Leonid Afremov

Using a palette knife instead of a brush or strokes as such is very original. The reflection of what appears to be a cobble sidewalk or street is beautiful. I think using oil paints was a great choice, and I can see a great use of line work in the painting. You can also get a sense of movement from the person, as if they are hurrying home in a rain storm like they do in real life (at least, where I live anyway). All and all, beautiful piece and great work! The color choices made work lovely together. Absolutely beautiful.
