Comments Oo, I really like the shadows in this piece.
 I am unable to Critique it properly due to my lack of Premium Membership so I apologize. What I do wish to say here though is this piece is gorgeous. The composition is done to where the buildings do not look clustered but, at the same time still give you that old world street feel if that makes any sense. Like the small side streets with the quaint buildings.
You use of warm colors is actually very smart, and I do love the splash of color from the flowers that dot the picture. One thing that struck me aside from the brilliant gold was how the picture looks like Sicily. Not just some generic Italian/Sicilian town or village but, feels as if you were actually sitting there as you painted it. Very authentic looking I believe is how I wanted to put it. -- "Compassion is just a nicer way of looking down your nose." "Live as long as you want, and want not as long as you live."  Awesome!

 I love the painterly effect you have going on. Very realistic, yet clear, stylized brushstrokes that give this it's own unique touch. Like it a lot.

Critiques
Even though the flowers and foliage aren't very detailed you get the impression that they are. The colors of the flowers are very beautiful especially next to golden yellow buildings.
The pathway and stair case are very well done. I love how the brushstrokes give it such texture.
This piece is extremely beautiful and I just want to say that you are a very skilled artist! This piece is definitely worth more than $10!
