I hope to one day oil paint and understand color as much as you do. ;; this is nice, it's cooler than a lot of your vivid redder, warmer pictures ;u; I really like it though, because it has those little warm spots in such nice places. <3 the woman is gorgeous and I love the shading in her dress and the colors you chose, particularly on her bottom (not trying to sound perverted! It's just a typically nice area! ;u;)

I am in absolute love with this piece. I've come back two days in a row to view it. The lighting is so striking, and the colors so vivid. It reminds me of a modern day stained glass painting. Well done. I'm not an oil painter; I work mostly with acrylics so I don't have much expertise to criticize in your specific medium.

This is beautiful -- I especially love the way you created the reflection on the ground.

If there is anything to critique about this piece:
1) Her hips. They seem a bit too "round" (for a lack of better words). It looks as though you may have painted the left side a little too far out (where you've painted it blue). This wouldn't be so bad, but because you also painted in a shadow under her bum/where the dress folds in, it makes her bottom half look a little off to me.

2) I'm not sure, but there is something that looks a little bit off with her forearms. I think they just need to be better defined...especially since she's the focus of the painting!

All in all, I think you did a wonderful job. Again, the colours are just beautiful.

Cheers!

Incredible. I love how you've managed to create such a breathtaking environment with such simple brush (well, knife) strokes just through the use of such bold colors. I also love the composition itself, it's so joyous and free!

This is incredible. I just started learning to paint. This really inspires me now. All the hundreds of colors on the canvas and each one stands so distinctly and yet works together as a whole to produce such a beautiful scene. Not to sound cheesy or anything, but this artist's work makes me really happy to look at.

Really nice. I love this style. Question. Would you be willing to donate this print to sell in a silent auction. All the proceeds would go to building a 6th grade school in Uganda. Check out my page for more info.

holy crap this is awesome!!!! you dont need to ask for critique is completely impressionistic!!!! i absolutly love how much detail and how well the picture comes across even though your using such broad strokes!!! and so many colors!! themixing makes it look perfect though!!
when you come in close you can see everything, like all the colors and strokes and its just amazing to step back and see how much detail you got with that. the shine on the road is also awesome
i was like, how did they do that?? then i came in close and it was just light colors!!! so cool!!!

The vibrancy of the colors, the beautiful mirror-like colors from where she's running, the way the colors blend...

It's just gorgeous. The way the trees reach up delicately and blossom with colors... The way they just pour onto her umbrella... it's just beautiful.

If I absolutely /had/ to dislike something, anything, it'd be her hips. They seem to come out more on the left... Maybe if you had pulled it in a bit more, and done less of the blue on the left side, or just pulled it it.

However, if this was what you wanted, than it's fabulous. It is fabulous. I honestly didn't even want to say anything negative about it. it's all just so beautiful, and honestly, I don't use that lightly. At all. It is absolutely beautiful... captivating... fantastic. There aren't enough words.

Beautiful.
