l'shanah tovah tikatevu! for future reference, we eat challah (braided bread sweetened with egg) and apples dipped in honey to symbolize a sweet new year. the challah, instead of being long and somewhat rectangular, is in a circle, like our calendar. and eating these things are traditions, so we don't necessarily have to do it. for example, I don't dip my apples in honey, because the honey's too sweet for me. this is, of course, assuming you're not Jewish. if you are... wow, that was embarrassing! love your artwork, as usual!
