Winter Melody by Leonid Afremov

The color choice is wonderful and the deep rich purples and dark blues really set to contract the orange highlights. The "fractal" bladed effect is very unique i think and coupled with this color use it gives you a very personal style. The composition is great , not too fussy or overworked. The part that I find most striking is yellow/golden path that the couple walk along, it made me feel otherworldly like the wizard of oz. I realize it is winter but i think more of the white snow should take over this path to give it a colder feeling. I feel if the golden path were a bit narrower it would have more of an impact. But that is just one thing. I don't know how else it could be improved. Its a beautiful and stunning work.
