Dance of angels by Leonid Afremov in interior

Use of that piece of artwork in that room is interesting, because the impressionism against the lacy detail of the wall decoration makes it look distant and three-dimensional.  With the rest of the room being a match or near-match color-wise, it draws in all of the attention as if the lights were off and it glowed.
So on the plus side it's a very interesting piece.  But I doubt I'd put it there if that were my house.  It would be far too distracting.
