At first it may seem a blur of vivid colours, but if you look at it just a little longer, the painting comes alive. A colourful night street, which shows how overwhelming and beautiful the night can be.
The lonely figure makes a good contrast with the rich colours around, and gives it that lonely feeling also connected to empty night streets.

And a final question: How large is the original? I hope it's a very large one, because it should be!

I swear, one of these days I'm going to buy one of your beautiful paintings. I simply love your interpretation of city streets at night. Beautiful.

Powerful and beautiful! Your use of such daring colors is really striking, and makes me feel as though there is a balance of the charm of the past, with an intimate, old-world street, and the vibrancy of an "electronic" present because of the feeling of constant movement, and even (to me) an impression of there being flashing neon signs or traffic lights... And, of course, this work is quite a treat for the eyes, too. Really great job; it's one of those few paintings that you could look at all day and still find something glorious in it the next time you see it.
