-- Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.   crit: to be honest, this look a lot like just decorative art. nothing really special. it seems as if most of your colours are straight out of the tube.
though you do handle the brush well, it would be nice to see something a little less cliche. -- "is the search for god absurd?" "it is if everyone dies alone."  The title seems to me almost ironic, since the bright reds make me think first that a town in the background is on fire. On a second look, though, it looks more like a sunset. In either case, no matter the intention, this is exceptional.
