this is also one of my favorites of your work, the buildings seem to welcome me inside from the cold. I seem to be drawn more to your paintings that are not too over vibrant in all areas, but the blend of colours are uniquely yours.
I like this. Especially the lovely angular houses, colors toned down, still vibrant. The different sizes of the houses, they compliment each other very well. The shadowy clock tower, and even more shadowy snowy mountains. And the sky blue patches through the clouds, promising a bit of sunshine. The windows are fun to look at.
My only critique if it's critique at all, is the building beside the clock tower, looks a bit like it might be falling down?
Maybe it is, who knows!
Maybe the guy standing there is trying to hold it up until help can be found.
Quick, grab the palette knife and go help! (I'm teasing about that part. Though not about the lines of the building.)
This is beautiful. I love this one. The eye popping colors are balanced very well next to the wintery white of the background. I also love how it transitions to really bright colors in the left, to more earthy as it follows right.
