I dont think it seems sexy. her body language is too innocent, and it makes her seem naturally beautiful. the colors are also so bright and vibrant; they make the whole painting look like the subject matter the color is surrounding is made to be portrayed as it is; there's no subliminal meaning behind it.
and i also think that this sort of 'beauty as it is' subject matter fits your style very very well. =]
No, but it's sensual. If it were to be sexy she should had faced the viewer more. Also, something being sexy often means it has to look like it could lead to sex. That's not to say that she has to be naked though, a woman can look sexy even though she has a winter jacket on. A lot of what is sexy has to do with body language and eye contact. If I had to judge this I would say it looks more like she's posing for croquis drawing. It's still a lovely painting though (=
I think all your works are sexy because of colors and the style in general. There is a lot of passion in your drawings and passion is sexy. Don't know why so many people find 'sexy' like something 'inappropriate'? To me it sounds like a good thing. I think the word 'sexy' has a lot of the shades (it can be sensual like mentioned above, wild, natural... - a lot of shades).
I don't think it's sexy.. it's more sensual, and definitely beautiful. I've been a fan of your work for forever (or a year or two. But it COULD be forever!), and it's the amazing use of vibrant colors and the unique brushstrokes you use that appeal to me. Sexy paintings are.. well, they're sexy. Great and all, but they're SO overdone these days.. That's what makes your work so absolutely refreshing. It takes a huge leap away from the norm, I feel.
I don't think it's sexy. Sexy, by nature, has to implicate sex. This just strikes me as a colorful back-view female torso. I'm a traditional artist, so I might be jaded, but the female body in itself doesn't equal "sexy" to me.
