To me this painting seems wistful, a longing for good peaceful times past that seem just out of reach. I believe that part of the reason this feeling is evoked in me is the hat that obscures one girl's face, the idyllic setting, the restful position of the dog, the seeming youth of the girl on the left by her hairstyle, and the beautiful blue window in the background which I associate with sorrow and joy because of both the deep blue and the tropical water blue. Also the style of your painting generally seem to me to be more around memories because of their beauty and the abstraction of the figures and their surroundings. It is a beautiful painting.
