The painting is gorgeous! But it looks a lot like your other paintings you have done of a park, sidewalk, etc... Try finding a new subject to paint, animals offer a wide variety. You should also try painting monochromatic to capture certain emotions in a painting. Blue-sadness, yellow - happiness, black-anger,etc...

I think it would of looked nice to see people on the bench holding hands or something, its called the park of love and while the painting overall is absolutly stunning, it dosent really support the name..

i agree with this. :)
and it's a little bright. but i think if you added a cute little couple that would make the painting feel balanced.

I like it a lot! But I feel like the balance is off a bit... The weight seems to be put on the right side with the lamppost and bench, but there's nothing to even it out on the left... maybe making certain parts darker might help?

It is beautiful but also is very, very similar to your other paintings. You have lots of paintings set up the same way--a rainy scene with bright lights and a park bench. And sometimes, people with umbrellas. I understand that that's your forte and you do do different things occasionally, but I would like to see more diversity.

The mcrflyleafdisturbed put it quite well. Indeed. When i first visited your gallery, i was stunned!! like WOW!! Thats smth! How fresh! Bright! Beautiful!
But now, its just like "same stuff again? ah well, ok"
Change subject, techniques, change media! Try smth new!

As a standalone art piece, its great... if you remove anything from your gallery, its gonna shoot. if not.. well.. its just one of many similar works.

It's beautiful! Some have said there's no people, but I see some little silhouettes in the background. Adds to the somewhat nighttime feel of this. :) Only thing I notice is the bench - is the perspective slightly off or is it just me?

I think it is beautiful as it is. You don't need people. Yes, it's a park scene, but it's already very artistic and by no means plain or boring. Any subject can be made interesting through style and application, and that's exactly what you've done. You've taken a park bench and given it a mood, an atmosphere, a persona, almost. The lack of people is commentary in itself. It could have people, or it could not. It's your decision, but I don't think it's lacking anything.

I'm assuming the park bench is the center of interest. Too be very honest, your center of interest is pretty boring. Maybe adding a person/people sitting on the bench would make your painting more lively.

I think that alot of your paintings like very similar to things. I think artwork should be more of an "one of a kind" type of thing. Your paintings are lovely, but you do alot of paintings with street lights and parks type places.

I think the colors and the mood are wonderful. I think that it's a little empty in the left-hand corner, though. There's a lot going on in terms of objects everywhere else, but there it's just.. color. It doesn't seem very balanced. I think it may just seem like that to me because of that large streak of brightness beneath the street lamp. If you could make it more subtle, the emptiness of the path might be a little less jarring. I do love how you made it sort of symmetrical along the diagonal, in terms of color, though. It gives the painting a really nice effect. :]

I think it's nice. The lighting is beautiful, and so are the colors, but I'd expect a park scene to have a few more people.
