When I first saw this piece in my watch messages, it hit my eyes with strong contrasts, warm colors and powerful energy. It encouraged me to take a closer look.

I really admire this kind of painting technique. From the distance it looks like a photograph but when zoomed in, you can see the raw traces of brush, irregularities and artifacts which makes the image sharper. Moreover, the author has managed to amplify high spectrum of colors in this piece. Therefore it’s not just typical blue, yellow, orange landscape. There are a lot of different color flavors including purple and pink, which make the picture well saturated.

Even though the image itself displays a typical scene of sunset at the seaside, it brings all the beautiful and nostalgic emotions and makes the observer feel to be part of that scene.
