First off, I am sure that there are many people that would be far better suited to write a critique as I do not have much experience with painting, I am only saying what I see.

-The person-

The one thing that I noticed that stuck out at first glance to me was the hand that appears to be holding the umbrella. Currently, the hand is seems to be clenched, with the thumb pointing at a horizontal angle meaning that the hand is in no way clenching the handle of the umbrella (in other words, it appears that the umbrella is floating above the person and not being held). Perhaps I am wrong, but that is just one thing that I noticed to be a bit off. The left hand bothers me a bit in the sense that it seems to be oddly short, or that it seems to vanish into nothing (probably just me though). I realize that the painting itself is very abstract so it may seem silly to mention that, but the left hand just doesn't seem right.

In regards to the person's bottom (right side), there is a stroke that adds a bit of confusion to the eye, not really a big issue though.

-The umbrella-

More of a minor thing, but there is a part on the right side of the umbrella that sticks out (here is the part I mean i.imgur.com/Uu74Rj4.png), it seems like a bit awkward to me but perhaps that was intentional and meant to give it a bit of irregularity (which isn't bad at all).

-Palette-

The colours are most excellent, and give off very vibrant feelings and are one of the most notable things in this piece.

The composition is very outstanding in my opinion, with the piece immediately drawing the viewers eye to the person and umbrella.
The technique is very well done indeed, there are some weird smudges and brush strokes here and there, but not many that would require deep evaluation on.
The originality on the other hand wasn't incredibly original in my opinion, which is not a bad thing at all.
To be perfectly honest, I'm not totally sure how to rate "vision", however it does emit a very calming and almost comfortable but lively theme.

I do sincerely hope I didn't come off as rude or anything of that sort. This is an incredible piece and deserves A LOT of attention! Once again, I am sure there are others who are better suited to critiquing this than I am (I'm basically just talking out of my ass for the most part) and I am sorry if some of the points that I brought up seem silly or anything of that sort.

P.S. Not sure if this counts as a critique or more of a "this is what seems weird to me".
